ACUPONCTURE AT STUDIO PILATES BOIS-FRANC IN SAINT-LAURENT
Acupuncture is an ancient medical science that was developed over 5000 years ago. For centuries, the Chinese have observed the functions of the human body as well as those of animal and plant life.
Acupuncture works on the whole body from the meridians and is based on the main principles of traditional Chinese medicine. This method consists of introducing thin sterilized single-use needles into very specific places on the body, the acupuncture points, and causing better circulation in the body in order to restore the energy balance and halt any blockage.
According to Chinese doctors, the good circulation of the Qi ensures health and balance.
Acupuncture offers a natural response to many ailments, dysfunctions of the human body or to fight against pain. It is both preventive and curative. Acupuncture treatments are not painful in themselves and even generate a feeling of relaxation.
